Marie Da Silva

Marie was born and raised in the Vosges in the Northeast of France. She studied in Nancy, where she earned her degree in Sciences du language, specializing in Teaching French as a Foreign Language. Marie has always been interested in languages. During her studies, she completed an exchange in Germany for several months. She went on to earn her Masters of Teaching and became a certified elementary teacher, Professeur des Ecoles, in Bourgogne with the French Ministry of Education. In France, she had the opportunity to teach in all grade levels from preschool through the elementary grades. Marie had the opportunity to come to Maine to complete a Student Teaching Internship at L’Ecole Française du Maine during her Master’s Program. This experience gave her the desire to teach abroad and to return to L’Ecole Française du Maine. Marie is enjoying Maine and teaching in the Early Childhood Program at L’Ecole Française du Maine. Marie enjoys sport, reading, and loves cooking for her friends.
