Thank you Dr. King

This week in English Language Arts students celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Our older students listened to and discussed Dr. King’s historic speech delivered at the March on Washington on August 28, 1963: “I Have a Dream”. Younger students were inspired by a biography about Dr. King to write about their own dreams for our world.
Yesterday was an observed holiday honoring the achievements of Martin Luther King, Jr., the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement to end racial segregation.
Thank you Dr. King
