Fall Bike Trip to Wolfe’s Neck Farm Grades 2-4

Our first Grade 2-4 Bike Trip will be on Friday September 28th. We are so excited about this trip and hope that weather will cooperate with us!
Students will depart school at 10:30 am and will arrive to Wolfe’s Neck Farm at 11 am. We will bike, visit the farm, and enjoy a picnic lunch together.
Students should come to school at drop off with their bike, helmet, picnic friendly lunch packed in a lunchbox, and if possible, a water bottle attached to the bicycle full of water (the more water, the better!). Depending on the weather, you may want to consider applying sunscreen in the morning.
In the meantime, we would like to suggest that families give your child’s bike a ‘Bike Check’. Please make sure that tires are full of air and that any necessary bike adjustments are made prior to the trip. Helmets should fit comfortably, and we always recommend installing a water bottle holder and water bottle.
Going for a bike ride prior to the trip will help make sure your child’s bike trip will be successful!
As always these trips are optional. Parents chaperones are also welcome to join!
