Extended Day
Childcare from 3:30-5:30 daily
L'Ecole is a licensed childcare and preschool program with programming offered year-round. Extended Day Care is available on school days for parents whose schedules make it challenging to meet the school hours of 8:30 to 3:30 pm. All of these programs are offered at an additional cost. Families can select from the following options:
- YEARLY: Recognizing that working families require consistent aftercare, L'Ecole Française du Maine offers a 25% discounted rate for full-year prepaid childcare enrollment. We intend to help families who depend on their child's regular attendance during extended day hours throughout the school year.
- MONTHLY: We ask families to enroll in aftercare ahead of time to help us plan our staffing needs. This form is for monthly aftercare enrollment. Please choose the days and times you require to customize your child's aftercare. You must complete this form each month you wish to enroll your child. Merci!
- UNPLANNED EMERGENCY CARE: $15/hr or part thereof. The two discounted rates (yearly and monthly) do not replace the hourly emergency option for unplanned care. The $15/hr emergency aftercare is billed monthly and does not require prepayment. We appreciate advance notice when your child requires extended day services, but we understand sometimes the need arises unexpectedly.
Club Offerings 3:30-4:30
Below are the club offerings for the FALL 2026 session.
Club fees are separate from garderie (aftercare) hours, but your child may participate in a club and attend garderie after the club concludes on any given day. In case of cancellation due to staff absence or weather, individual sessions may be rescheduled. There will be a minimum enrollment for each activity to be offered. Club fees are nonrefundable, unless minimum number of participants are not reached.
• Each club activity will run once per week for 10-week sessions for 1 hour each, or 5-weeks for 2 hrs each, please see exact dates and details for each club sessions below!
• Each club costs $200 for a full session of 1 hr club at 10 weeks, $200 for full session of 2 hr club at 5 weeks.
