From the quaint towns of Maine to the bustling streets of Europe, Riley Anthony’s journey as an educator has been nothing short of inspiring. A graduate of Gorham High School (2011), Riley earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Sociology from Keene State College in 2015. Her academic journey also included a transformative semester at York St. John University in England, where she deepened her understanding of Sociology and explored diverse cultures across Europe.

Certified in both Elementary and Special Education (K-8) in Maine, Riley has dedicated six years to supporting students with severe behavioral disabilities. At Coastal Ridge Elementary School and East End Community School, she developed and implemented innovative programs that significantly improved student engagement and behavioral outcomes.

Beyond the school year, Riley continues to impact students’ lives through private tutoring in Kennebunk, employing the Orton-Gillingham Curriculum to teach phonics. She is also skilled in various educational methodologies, including Lindamood-Bell, Reading with TLC, and Seeing Stars.

Residing in Saco, Maine, with her husband, daughter Poppy, and two dogs, Riley enjoys the beach, reading, exploring local cuisine, and calligraphy. Her extensive experience and commitment to inclusive education make her a valuable asset to the French School of Maine community. Riley Anthony’s dedication promises to inspire and uplift students and colleagues alike.
