Bonjour,
What a wonderful first week of school! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all our new families for bringing their enthusiasm, and to our returning families for their smiles and vibrant energy.
In this bi-weekly newsletter, you’ll find important reminders about upcoming events and opportunities to engage with our school community. As we progress through the first few months, we will be introducing even more ways for you to stay connected with your student’s classroom. Please be sure to read through the newsletter carefully to stay informed.
This edition includes a reminder for tomorrow’s Family Picnic, which will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. You’ll find additional details below—we hope to see you there!
We’d also like to remind everyone about our drop-off and pick-up procedures. This week has gone exceptionally well, with students showing great independence. Let’s keep up the momentum!
Next week, we’ll be hosting our Back-to-School meetings in the afternoons. You are invited to attend your student’s classroom session, and you’re also welcome to join other classroom meetings if you’d like to learn more about the year ahead. Please note that Moyenne Section’s meeting will be held on October 1st.
Additionally, you’ll find the sign-up form for our fall session of Afterschool Clubs in this newsletter. These clubs tend to fill up quickly, so don’t miss your chance! If needed, we maintain a waitlist and prioritize those families for the next session later in the year.
If you’re interested in October Vacation “Camp” please share your interest below. We’ll notify families as soon as possible if there’s enough demand to run the program.
Lastly, we’ve included the latest updates to our COVID protocols as we prepare for the colder months. We kindly ask all families to review these protocols to ensure everyone remains safe.
As always, feel free to reach out to the office with any questions at office@frenchschool.me.
Thank you for making the start of the 2023-2024 school year one to remember!
Warmly,
Emily and Willy
