We hope everyone stayed safe and enjoyed the snow during the Nor’easter, which blanketed our area with more than a foot of snow over the past two days. While snow continues to cover our playground, our hallways are bright with fresh seasonal artwork, classrooms are buzzing with hard-working students, and the gentle hum of songs from our upcoming spring performance can already be heard throughout the school.
With January comes a look ahead to the next school year. Enrollment for 2026–2027 is just about underway! Current families will have a brief priority re-enrollment window to reserve their spots before we invite recently applied families to move forward with enrollment. A preview of the 2026–2027 School Calendar will be shared soon.
Even with snow falling outside, Summer Camp is already top of mind. With Camp enrollment now officially open, families are encouraged to register for the week(s) of their choosing as soon as possible as camp is open to both current students and the general public. L’été à l’école is not only fantastic fun for old EFDM friends, it’s also a wonderful way for community members curious about L’École or French learning to come see what we’re all about and make new friends!
A new season of clubs remains open for enrollment! A few spots are still available, but some clubs are now full. To get on a waitlist, please email the office! A few favorites from the fall, as well as some new offerings are available for another 10 weeks during the spring trimester, starting the week of Jan. 26th. Before signing up, please check the age requirements listed as well as weekdays and schedules offered.
We hope you can all make it to join us for Ice Skating at Troubh Arena Friday January 30th at 12-2pm! Sign up is available using this link. These optional community events are available to all ages, and are a fun, affordable way to learn a new skill in a large space filled exclusively with other EFDM kids. We hope your students and families can all make it to one or both of the upcoming skating days!
Sugarloaf Friday was a great success last week! Please let us know if you are interested in joining us for one or both of the remaining dates. Discounted adult tickets are available through our school group rate. Upcoming Sugarloaf Fridays are scheduled for February 6 and March 13.
