Riley Anthony

Riley Anthony is an experienced educator whose professional journey spans from her roots in Maine to formative experiences across Europe. A graduate of Gorham High School (2011), Riley earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Sociology from Keene State College in 2015. During her studies, she spent a transformative semester abroad at York St. John University in England, where she expanded her understanding of Sociology and engaged deeply with European cultures.

Certified in both Elementary and Special Education (K–8) in the state of Maine, Riley has spent six years serving students with severe behavioral disabilities. At both Coastal Ridge Elementary School and East End Community School, she led the development of innovative support programs that significantly improved student engagement and behavior.

Outside the traditional classroom, Riley continues to make an impact through private tutoring in Kennebunk. She specializes in literacy instruction, using the Orton-Gillingham approach to teach phonics and incorporating a range of methodologies including Lindamood-Bell, Reading with TLC, and Seeing Stars.

Riley lives in Saco, Maine, with her husband, their daughter Poppy, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys visiting the beach, reading, exploring local restaurants, and practicing calligraphy.

Her expertise in inclusive education, coupled with her dedication to student growth and well-being, make Riley a valued member of the French School of Maine community.
