Apolline Adolphe

Willy LeBihan

Apolline Adolphe, born in Metz in the Lorraine region of Eastern France, brings creativity, warmth, and energy to her role at the French School of Maine. Raised in a family of professional classical musicians, Apolline was immersed from an early age in the rich cultural and artistic traditions of her region. She spent ten years studying at the Conservatory of Music in Metz, where she specialized in the viola.

Her deep-rooted passion for music was shaped by a remarkable family legacy—her father, a cello professor and conductor; her mother, a musician with the National Orchestra of Lorraine; and her uncles, both directors of music conservatories in France. Music has been a lifelong influence, instilling in Apolline a strong sense of discipline, creativity, and expression.

In addition to her artistic background, Apolline pursued professional studies in the hospitality industry, with a focus on culinary arts and table service. After completing her diploma, she traveled to the United States as an au pair in North Carolina. This formative experience, living with and supporting an American family, sparked a lasting passion for working with young children and laid the foundation for her path in early childhood education.

Apolline’s diverse experiences and cultural fluency make her a valued member of our team, bringing both a nurturing presence and a rich artistic perspective to the classroom.
