Martine Goldberg joined L’École Française du Maine as a Pre-K Assistant Teacher after relocating to South Portland from Massachusetts, where she had lived for many years with her family. Originally from Marseille, France, Martine brings a rich international background to our community. She is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and holds a Master’s degree in Holistic Nutrition.

Martine spent twelve years at the International School of Boston, where she held various roles supporting students and teachers in a bilingual environment. In addition to her academic background, she is a Certified Yoga Instructor and trained mindfulness meditation educator, working with students from kindergarten through high school. Over the past fifteen years, she has taught yoga to a wide range of learners, including children, athletes, and seniors, often incorporating bilingual instruction.

Passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition, Martine also enjoys swimming in the ocean and thrives in multicultural settings. She speaks multiple languages and brings warmth, calm, and care to every classroom she enters.

Martine officially retired from full-time teaching in 2024, but continues to be a valued presence at EFDM as a substitute teacher.
